all what you need to first is that every time you wash your locks you don't blow dry it with hot blower, rather towel dry them and let them dry slowly by leaving them hanging free.
I do advice you to use low heat dryer in the event that you're running out of time but you still want to keep your locks perfect.

washing dreadlocks with high temperature may cause them to have a hard texture which will lead them to be brittle.Luke warm water is always preferred.
